"Have you ever heard of Christian Mingle?

...well, we actually met on Hinge." That's what Alex always says when people ask how we met. Take us back to July 2021 where Haylee noticed that based on both of our Hinge activity, we were flagged as "Most Compatible." Haylee decided to "like" one of Alex's photos on Hinge. Alex quickly took it upon himself to send a message to Haylee. After chatting on Hinge for a couple of weeks, we decided to exchange phone numbers. Texts led to phone calls, and eventually we decided it was time to meet in person. Alex noticed on Haylee's profile that she loves tacos and margaritas and Alex loves sports, so for our first date, he suggested Glory Days (casual sports bar) because they had tacos, margs, and sports. After suggesting the date and time, Alex did not realize that the NBA draft was live that night and knew he wanted to watch but also knew he didn't want to cancel their first date. So, Alex decided to get to Glory Days before Haylee and pick a seat where a TV would be perfectly placed behind Haylee so if the date went bad, he could at least watch the draft. Ultimately, Alex did not watch an ounce of the draft. Alex walked Haylee to her car and decided to kiss her goodnight. Sparks flew and little did they know, that would be their last first date and last first kiss.

God's timing is the best timing. Haylee had a 30-mile radius on her Hinge app and Alex had about the same. This means that anyone outside that radius couldn't match with either. Alex was on an annual golf trip with his buddies and decided to check his app which was less than 30 miles away from Haylee and because of this, we matched! Had Alex been at his Clearwater condo and Haylee at her Odessa home, the radius was outside our preferences, and we would have never matched. We found each other at just the perfect time.

Alex and Haylee became "official" on a friends trip down to Key West on 09.24.2021. Fast forward 3 years later where Alex decided to pop the question to Haylee on a surprise anniversary trip to Key West where he asked Haylee to marry him in a butterfly garden on 10.04.2024. Haylee, of course, said yes! The sweetest, most magical, special, and absolute best day of our lives thus far. We are so excited for this next chapter of marriage, and we cannot wait to spend forever together.
